POLICY STATEMENTS

DFA has a clearly defined ethical principles and publication policy:

  • Once abbreviations have been done initially, the full wordings should not be used again throughout the text.
  • Diagrams must be clear. Papers with such diagrams might be allowed at first, but author must replace diagram if paper is eventually accepted before publication.
  • Self-citation of more than 3 papers is not allowed
  • Plagiarism level accepted is 15%. Authors should address grammar issues before submitting for publication. DFA accepts all plagiarism detection tools used by the author before submission. We suggest the use of the following plagiarism tools: (1) Plagiarisma, (2) Turnitin, (3) Grammarly Plagiarism, (4) QuillBot Plagiarism Checker, (5) Free Plagiarism Checker, (6) Plagiarism Checker X, (7) ProWriting Aid, (8) Copyleaks, (9) Scribbr, (10) Plagramme, (11) Dupli Checker, (12) iThenticate, (13) Writer.com, (14) Unicheck, (15) PlagScan, (16) Quetext, (17) Plagium or (18) Strikeplagiarism.com
  • Download and fill/edit appropriately, the copyright form and cover letter and submit them alongside the original manuscript for review. After acceptance, submit the payment receipt and the camera-ready paper for publication.
  • It is optional to submit a plagiarism result as a prove of plagiarism check by the author.
  • Submitted papers are acknowledged within 24 hours of receipt by the site administrators. A manuscript ID is assigned to the paper with instructions to send a submission notification to the editor via email.
  • Manuscripts submitted are assigned to three reviewers who must ensure effective followership of the journal’s scope and publication guidelines.
  • Reviewers submit their reviews online by filling the DFA review submission form using their Reviewer Certificate number. The form allows the reviewers to enter comments and suggestions which is expected in 10 days’ time.
  • Author’s replies to reviewer’s comments are maximum of 1 week. Authors have 3-4 days to make payments after the paper has been accepted into the current issue.
  • Editors send a camera-ready version of the manuscript for final checking by the corresponding author. The journal is published on 30th of every month and a certificate of publication is sent via email provided by the corresponding author.
  • If papers published under any DFA journal is found to have been published elsewhere, the institution of the author would be notified to pay a fine of $200. The paper would also be deleted from the journal platform and no paper will further be accepted from that author.
  • Papers submitted without following the template shown in the slides below would be rejected within 48 hours.

  • Notify the editor of co-author inclusion duly in the course of the review and indicate his contributions in the written paper as indicated in the journal template. After the camera-ready version submission, no further addition would be permitted.
OTHER POLICIES
Correction, Retraction and Withdrawal Policy

After a successful review, publication and indexing, any serious mistake detected by authors of a particular manuscript can be highlighted. Such corrections would be welcomed and the paper would be re-published online. Small spelling errors are exempted from this correction window.

Cancellation, reversal or retraction of a manuscript published earlier would attract a fee of $10 to arrange for un-indexing. Articles can also be retracted by the editors in cases of multiple submission and fraudulent use of data. None of the DFA journals would accept papers again from authors who submit same manuscripts to different publishers. Such author or his/her institution would be noticed to pay a fine of $200. Authors have 10 days to withdraw their manuscript after submission. This should be done by communication formally with the editors. After publication, room for withdrawal would not likely be taking seriously except decided by the editorial board upon violation of the publication ethics.


Copyright and Licensing Policy

Users are granted perpetual right to access, use, distribute, copy and display articles published in our journal. This is basically under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. However, self-citation of more than 3 papers is not accepted. During paper submissions, all authors listed in a particular manuscript must sign our copyright form and submit alongside their write-up.

DFA published manuscripts has the stamp of Diverse Field Articles in all her journals. This is after adhering to all terms in our publication policy. An addition every paper published by DFA follows the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.


Complaint Policy

We would respond promptly to consecutive complaints and criticism of any of our editorial or review staff. This would be an opportunity for improvement on our own part to keep rendering timely and desirable services to reputable writers. Email your complains to info@dfajournals.com

Rude response, reviewer bias, long delay, competitive acts by reviewers, or severe misjudgment are some of the complaints DFA would address swiftly as they directly points to process failure. But disagreeing with reviewer decisions is not considered a complain.


Peer Review Policy

The identify of the author(s) would remain unknown to the reviewers throughout the review process. Therefore name, email and address of the author(s) is removed by the editor prior to submitting the papers to reviewers. Editors use the review process to make decision on an article and help authors improve their work. DFA in-line with her core interest of publishing standard papers developed a special review submission form to be used by the reviewers. Though reviewers’ photo, affiliation and details are well displayed in our Reviewer’s Guide Page, DFA won’t allow any author know the identity of the reviewers handling their paper.

Reviewing is not a paid task, but DFA would give special credit to reviewers that help us stick to our ethics.


Open Access Policy

All DFA journals are open access journals. It means explorers or users can easily access the publication free of charge. They can read, copy, distribute, print, search, download, teach or store the full texts of the manuscripts, in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.


Plagiarism Policy

Author(s) can submit their plagiarism report alongside the original manuscript. However, this is optional; DFA subject papers to screening by Advanced Plagiarism Detection Softwares. Author(s) can use any of the following plagiarism detection services in the internet.

Only 10% plagiarism is allowed to maintain and ensure originality and innovation.
